As folks who have worked in and around the wellness field for a number of years, we have witnessed how healing modalities practiced by people from privileged groups (white, straight, cis-gender, able-bodied, neurotypical people and those with access to wealth) are centered, and healing modalities originated from everyone else are either dismissed or exploited.
Get Right Wellness was conceived from a vision of a vibrant community of healing artists offering a range of pathways to healing that honor the innate wisdom of folks in our community to choose what works best for them.
A Get Right Wellness, we strive to divest from an oppressive, gatekeeping path to healing.
We know that not all healing artists practice in licensed fields; we honor the time, experience and expertise of healing artists, whether their path has led them to a field of “traditional” academics and licensure or not. We extend an open call to herbalists, energy healers, astrologers, acupuncturists, massage therapists, psychotherapists and beyond to join us in our vision.
Our Community Space
Get Right Wellness has five beautiful rooms available for rental by all healing arts practitioners. The available spaces include a large community room appropriate for groups and workshops, three therapy offices, and one smaller treatment room. We offer rental space by the hour, day or month for healing artists to grow their practice in an autonomous way while being in relationship with like minded folks.
Practitioners who rent space at Get Right Wellness also have the opportunity to be listed on our website, featured on our social media and to access the Equity in Healing fund. Please tell us about yourself using the form below and we will be in contact.
Our Vision
Get Right Wellness is a space where practitioners collaborate with each other to create an integrative healing experience for members of our community. We are cultivating a group of practitioners who are community minded and interested in growth, self-development in their practice, and right relationship with the community they practice in. We are cultivating a group of practitioners who are interested in equity and access for all, and are willing to offer sliding scale rates for their services.
Our Commitment
We are committed to the practitioners making a home in our space and to creating an environment of warmth, collaboration, equity and access for those who work with us as well as the community we work within. We have been intentional in setting our rates to allow our practitioners to thrive while also maintaining accessible rates for those we serve.
Our Dream
Another dream for Get Right Wellness is to create a hub of collective learning for folks on self-guided healing. In order to achieve this, we hope to connect with a diverse group of practitioners of all kinds to run workshops, groups and classes on any topic that might feel supportive and therapeutic. Do you have an idea for a workshop, class or group offering that you’ve felt moved to develop? Are you looking for a supportive, nurturing environment in which to explore and stretch your practice?
