Tending your Inner Child(ren): an energy healing workshop

Most of us can benefit from inner child work, and this approach has increasingly come into focus in recent years. But how do we actually do this? Who is my inner child, and what if I don’t have loving feelings toward my child self?

This workshop will explore an energy-oriented approach to working with our inner children. We all have many versions of ourselves throughout our childhoods and adult lives. On the level of energy, these versions endure even as our outward expression may change. When we access emotions, memories, and experiences related to child selves we may experience the presence of younger modes of operating; this can be a source of difficulty when they interfere with our adult capacity to cope, but they can also hold unique resources that we would benefit to reclaim.

We will begin with a foundational understanding of inner child selves and working with them. You will learn a variety of ways to approach inner child work, depending on your goals and needs. The bulk of this workshop will be experiential: I will weave elements of trancework, guided imagery and grounding, somatic exploration, and energywork to facilitate the group process. Meditative music and Reiki will be used to support you.

After the experiential there will be time to share for those comfortable doing so, as well as suggestions for aftercare. This workshop is limited to 8 people to allow for plenty of time for sharing, questions, and a more intimate environment.

Tiered sliding scale $35-$45-$55 for the two hour workshop. We are currently at capacity for scholarship tickets, please email us to be put on the waiting list for a scholarship ticket.

Please note that this is not a psychotherapy group, the nature of groups means that it is not always possible to go into individual details in depth. However a benefit of groups is the experience of connecting with others in a similar process, and because it is focused on the somatic experience it is well-suited to those who do not have clear memory recall.
