Reiki is a form of gentle and supportive energy healing that works with all levels of the physical and psychic body to promote wellness and healing.
In this day-long training, you will learn the fundamentals of Reiki as a system of energy healing, and in particular how reiki works on the physical level.
We will review a brief history of reiki, have in-depth discussion of how energy manifests and effects the body, learn the Reiki Precepts and ethical concepts, explore an introduction to energy centers, and contemplate how a reiki practice may fit into your life. We can explore the role of intuition and spirit guides as desired by participants.
You will be attuned to Reiki energy individually (which is a form of healing in itself) and that attunement is sealed in for life. Afterwards you will learn how to perform a reiki session, and there will be time to practice! We will also discuss self-healing, including using reiki for grounding and self-care. We will close with learning about how the process can be deepened in Level 2, and how to take this practice out into the world and integrate your initial attunement.
At the completion of this training you will receive a certificate as a Level 1 Reiki practitioner, which will allow you to practice with friends and family, and begin to incorporate reiki into your existing work. You will also have access to ongoing mentorship with me as you develop your practice after the training, and are welcome to join my practice groups. This training is from 11am-6pm with a one hour lunch break around 2pm. Sliding scale exchange is: $111, $166, and $222. Limited to 10 participants for an intimate environment.
