Community Yoga with Marisol

Join Marisol, of @marisolvibracion, in community for a biweekly yoga class where all the aspects and limbs of yoga are honored. Asana flows will be offered along with talks on yoga ethics, guided meditation, and the cultural, historical context of this South Asian practice. The word yoga, from the Sanskrit root yuj, means union. This offering seeks to unify our asana practice (which is only one limb of the entire tradition) with our daily life. It shifts away from the notion of “doing” yoga and towards the concept of living it.

Marisol is a Ridgewood native who first found herself in a yoga class in the neighborhood during her teens. A decade later, she is now a Y200 certified yoga teacher and certified Master of Wisdom and Meditation, while continuing her Y500 education.

This is a donation-based class. The suggested donation $16.
